2026 Financial Advisor Magazine Top RIA Survey & Rankings: The Stars Are Aligned

Rarely have all the stars aligned to shine on a profession and create an environment as favorable as the universe facing financial advisors today. The demographic and financial market dynamics underpinning the advisory business look so auspicious that an estimated 300 qualified buyers, mostly private equity firms, are banging on the doors and trying to acquire a piece of it.

Ever since the 2008 financial crisis, wealth has been created at an exponential pace as U.S. equities have produced double-digit returns for almost two decades.

The world of wealth is a different place today. Financial advisors who once viewed clients with $10 million as outliers no longer do in a K-shaped economy.
