SGH Wealth Management nominated for Advisor of the Year by InvestmentNews

After months of nominations and research, Sam Huszczo, CFA, CFP of SGH Wealth Management has been selected as an Excellence Awardee for Advisor of the Year (Midwest) in the first annual InvestmentNews Awards, brought to you by InvestmentNews.

For this inaugural year, one overall winner in each category will be announced live, “Oscars-style” at the gala awards dinner on June 20th at 583 Park Avenue.

With the all-time high volume and caliber of nominations this year, the recognition is no small feat. It stands as an impartial endorsement, exposure within the market, recognition for the team, and one step closer to winning the top prize.

The event will be hosted by Kerry Barrett, an Emmy-Winning anchor, host and on-camera expert for internationally renowned media institutions like NBC, ABC and Fox TV.

Methodology

This award is one of the highest accolades offered to an individual in the wealth management and financial planning industry. It recognizes the most outstanding advisors in the main regions of the U.S. from an advisory firm or team, regardless of business size and model.

When judging this category, the following criteria will be considered:

• Exemplary business development strategies to prospect and retain clients in innovative ways.
• Knowledge, understanding, and communication of investment opportunities and strategies for their client’s portfolios.
• Client retention and relationship strategies, and how it set the advisor apart from the competition with a unique value proposition.
• Examples of ways that the advisor is educating the industry/clientele on investment strategies.
• Demonstrations of mentorship and/or other efforts such as pro-bono work, servicing underserved communities, community work etc.
• Approach to regulatory compliance.
